What you’ll do as an Entry-Level Coordinator:
- Schedule pick-up, or delivery appointments with warehouses via phone, email, or online scheduling
- Receive inbound and make outbound calls to drivers to get their location
- Communicate any scheduling issues that arise to the correct parties
- Follow a step-by-step escalation process regarding issues
What you need to become an Entry-Level Coordinator:
- Proven ability to multi-task (servers, bartenders, and bank tellers are a few people who are successful examples)
- Great customer service attributes, good personality
- Attention to detail is a must, and proper data entry is key
- Strives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under stress
